Started As A Joke' Print
It
started as a joke but things quickly escalated and before we knew
it, all paint broke lose and people were taking sides, sparring with
paint brushes, chasing after each other madly and taking hostages.
We never did finish painting that room...
'It
Started As A Joke' is now available as a beautiful four coloured screen
print and retains the vast impact of the original. The screen prints
are stored flat and dispatched inside a premium 6" diameter postal
tube. At over a metre long, it's just not efficient to post these
out flat, haha. Each print is also shipped out with a mystery piece
of art.

'It
Started As A Joke' Canvas
It
started as a joke but things quickly escalated and before we knew

I
really wanted to create a chaotic scene of colour and movement with
a sense of 'crowd' that I hadn't quite managed in previous pieces
like 'Dopeness Means Robots' or 'The Buff'. I believe in 'It Started
As A Joke', I've accomplished a detailed and extensive mess of people
that you can hopefully find something new in every time you look.
This monster of a canvas is by far the hardest piece I've produced
to date. I spent over 90 hours designing the piece, 50 hours cutting
the four layers that span the entire scene and two hours spent spraying
each canvas.
