Where there's a will, there's a way and where there's a bird, there's probably a hungry cat.

This is something a little different from my usual work for a few reasons. I decided against putting a white outline around everything. I also included buildings, which I've not really done before, with the exception of 'Do Look Down'. Even with that show, the buildings didn't feel as involved as this piece. Lastly, the colours aren't the obvious, usual palette and I'd like to think I've capture the nighttime atmosphere quite well.

Anyway, this is the first piece in a series of paintings and I look forward to eventually showing you them once they've been drawn, cut and painted. I'm also hoping to pull this series as an edition of screen prints in my studio once I've set everything up and gotten my technique down.
