LITERALLY EVERY LAST DROP

I'm lazy and spoilt.
Wasteful. Ripe and feckless. These are the things that cross my mind when I don't keep a useful offcut because storing it would be inconvenient or I throw away a nearly-but-not-actually-empty can of spray paint because I've got another five cans of the same colour waiting in the wings.
But in a bid to ease my conscience, I decided to make a print using leftover ink. The colours themselves aren't the problem. Afterall, I've used them to print previous pieces. They're. Nice. Colours.
The issue is that there's not a lot of each colour.
So I made a screen print that works even when the ink runs out. I actually really like the prints where the ink is basically gone and each layer isn't fully printing. THAT'S going until you've got nothing left.
And I don't have much of my work up on our walls (I wrestle with every inch of it whilst I'm making it) but I think I'll hang this one up in the print studio because it's probably good to occasionally be reminded to use, literally and proverbially, every last drop.
